Amarillo Venom Training Camp Begins Today At Courts Of Amarillo |

Training camp for the 2010 Amarillo Venom football season begins today, the team announced Friday. "The main thing is to make sure everyone is on the same page," commented Venom Head Coach Jon Lyles. "I'm confident this group of guys will make the Panhandle football fans proud. It's now time to go to work." Training camp will be held at The Courts of Amarillo as the players take the field beginning at 7pm tonight and 2:30pm Saturday and Sunday. All practice sessions are open to the public. "We're proud to partner with the Courts of Amarillo," explained Venom General Manager Joe Morgado. "They have a top-notch facility where not only athletes can work out, but also where the Panhandle community can visit with their friends and families." The Courts of Amarillo have over 70,000 square feet for indoor events and sits on over 87 acres. They are a privately owned facility open to the public for hourly rentals. The Courts of Amarillo are home to Advanced Volleyball Amarillo, Advanced Basketball Amarillo and PWA Wrestling and Omada Kitrinos Wrestling. Fans who purchase their season tickets in full from now until March 1st will receive a FREE Venom shirt!
