Amarillo, TX 12/7/11: The Amarillo Venom wants your help this Saturday morning delivering toys to local kids with Eveline Rivers.
“The primary mission of the Eveline Rivers Christmas Project is to improve educational outcomes and supply basic childhood needs to economically disadvantaged children during the Christmas and winter season. This organization, which has been operating for over twenty years, is unique to Amarillo and the surrounding area and serves primarily children, adolescents and teenagers in the Amarillo/Canyon area.”
Every year Eveline Rivers not only delivers toys but also school supplies and books to kids in the Amarillo/Canyon area who may only receive this one gift for Christmas. However, she can’t do it alone! This Saturday, December 10th she is asking for the community help in delivering the toys! Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Eveline Rivers Project located at 314 South Jefferson.
